FAQ

Q: Wait. We can bring our own food?

A: Yes! While we do have a limited menu of snacks, you are MORE THAN WELCOME to bring your own. We have menus available from Hooty’s (homemade pizza), Tano’s Pizza, The Creamery, Maple Leaf Restaurant (delicious Mexican food), Hilltop and Coach’s Club. Stay tuned for Food Truck nights (the 3rd Thursday of most months)!

Q: What’s upstairs?

A: We have recently finished the second floor available for rent. There are two adjoining rooms that can be separated in to single spaces or opened for one large space. The space is intended for meetings, classes, parties, gatherings and open studio space. The space can also be used as a photography studio for sessions. You can check out more about Studio 1854 here.

Q: How often will the wines be changed?

A: Look for rolling changes in our wine availability seasonally; Sept/October, Jan/February, May/June.

Q: How much is it to rent the space?

A: Rental fees are dependent on day of the week and the time of the event. If you can dream up an event, we’d love to accommodate if we can! Check out our Venue details.

Q: Can I host a meeting that doesn’t involve drinking alcohol?

A: ABSOLUTELY. We welcome any kind of meeting, class or workshop! We’d love to have your group here for a lunch and learn, sales meeting or staff gathering. Bring us your ideas.

Q: can we take our drinks outdoors?

A: Not yet. We have plans to fence in a back patio in 2020, however, we need to go through the correct permitting process to get construction underway. Until then, all alcoholic beverages must remain indoors on the property.

Q: What remodeling was completed by the current owners?

A: We basically gave this building a facelift; new floors, painted all the walls, new exterior doors and added the bar and furniture. The structure has amazing bones so we just needed to do a little cleanup. Other than that, the restoration (including doors, trim, windows, rock wall, skylights, etc)) was completed in 1998. We are in the process of updating and sharing the history of the building.

Q: where are the barrel tables from?

A: Our friends over at Coyle Woodworks in Waunakee, WI created the wine barrel tables for us. They sell and rent them for events. Check them out!

Q: Will you ever have live music?

A: We don’t know yet. The building is not necessarily set up to have room for live music inside and since we do not have a permit for outdoor entertainment yet, we likely will not have music until next summer.
